Introduction of Tsuzuki Ward 's social activities by inhabitants of a ward writer "Continuing SDGs Moms"
We introduce familiar social activities by students of citizen writer training course!
Last Updated August 24, 2023
What are the eco-friendly things you are doing in Tsuzuki Ward , what kind of people are doing in relation to SDGs? What are we likely to be able to participate in a nearby ward organization, and what can we start individually? I asked people who were working on any new discoveries by starting it.
Interview, photo, text = inhabitant of a ward writer Sonoko Uchida
Already in the past, the public relations paper "Enjin" of the Tsuzuki Kumin Activity Center and the local site "Rokotchi Centerminami".
The activities of "Continuing SDGs Moms" are introduced, but let's introduce those who do not know, including the current situation.
"Continuing SDGs Moms" is being raised by Mochida, Danno, and Matsuishi.
It was born because I participated in the Environmental Issues Association and met each other.
This time, we talked to Mr. Mochida and Mr. Danno.
Both of them have the same point that they are kind to the earth through child care and they are having a fun life.
In addition, through their friends, they are also engaged in farming such as rice planting and soybean sowing in Machida and Odawara.
There is also a desire to be involved in the origin of food.
The main activity of Mom's is "Green March," a garbage pick-up activity in Tsuzuki Ward .
"Okazu Club (formerly" Mom's Dining Table ")" to make prepared side dishes with friends,
The child-raising Jizo Festival is held every year around the intersection of the Minakita Walk and the Hayabuchi River.
In this corner, "Everyone's Bazaar" is held as a "Earth Friendly Festival".
Green March where you can meet joy and awareness
The original concept of Green March named by Danno was to walk along the green path of Tsuzuki Ward with children.
Pick up trash and enjoy while discovering unknown roads in the city.
I was embarrassed at first. But it's fun to make the road beautiful, and by walking on green roads and promenades.
Mr. Mochida says that he knew the town.
However, the green road is quite beautiful. Results of Green Marching in various places
I found that there is garbage every time in the station square in Centerminami.
Since then, I have been active in Centerminami on the first Friday of every month.
If you continue to register on the official LINE of SDGs Mom's, you will receive an activity guide by the day before.
At first, my child playing while picking up trash said, "Why don't you pick it up? I want you to pick it up."
However, as you continue to pick up trash, you notice a change in your consciousness.
Even if my child starts playing from the middle, he said, "Children are children, that's fine."
Danno says that children are children and should be looking at their parents' backs, making their own child care easier.
Mr. Mochida heard that his child picked up a plastic bag saying, "I helped a sea turtle!"
At least he realized that he didn't grow up as a child who throws away garbage.
It may be garbage that we have dropped without shyness, but thanks to these people, the aesthetics of the city are kept.
He also said that he had previously worked with young people at the Northern Yokohama Youth Plaza.
At first, I felt it was difficult to communicate, but gradually I had more opportunities to touch smiles.
It was said that they enjoyed picking up trash, and it was a joy of the activity.
When I was chatting, I was able to spend time preparing dinner!
On the third Monday, the “Okazu Club (formerly“ Mom's Dining Table ”)” will be held.
Make about 6 dishes with the participants.
Bring cutting boards and take-out containers by yourself.
This event was born with a friend who lived in a distant place several times.
It seems to be because of the fun experience of making rice and making osechi.
From now on, I wanted to make it with nearby people, so I brought it to Mom's.
If you move your hands while chatting together, you can make various side dishes in no time.
Today and tomorrow's original dinner preparation time will be reborn as time spent with children and time for their own time.
Every time, about 6 to 8 people gather and hold it at the home of Mom's members.
There is also a compost, so eco is thoroughly practiced until the food is cooked.
On this day, 5 nutritionally balanced side dishes are completed!
Moms from now on
Mom's seems to be reborn as a new organization.
Moms was interested in educational issues and wanted to create a school.
In such a case, "Tokyo Coffee" (a movement in which adults think and learn about education for children in truancy nationwide).
Knowing that the activities are similar, it seems that they will gradually shift to that in the future.
Basically, it is a base where adults can enjoy activities, but at the same time it seems that it is a place where children can feel safe.
The other day, I participated in a talk session for this event.
Part of the home of the members of Mom's is open as an event space.
There were eight adults and several small children.
A talk session by Mr. Daitoshi Higo, a former nursery teacher who has been a kindergarten teacher for many years.
In Japan, it is said that "Nordic education is wonderful", but he has been interviewing and verifying whether it is true.
It was interesting to hear the real Nordic education situation.
Interactive talks while showing photos of local educational sites. Imagine, answer quizzes, etc. The children also participated in the quiz and took the quiz in a relaxed atmosphere.
A festival in September where you can meet Mom's!
On Saturday, September 16, 2023, a bazaar for everyone will be held at the Child Care Jizo Festival.
This event was a great success last year, with a gathering of earth-friendly shoppers from inside and outside Tsuzuki Ward , including workshops and mass-sale foods.
It will be held again this year, so everyone will come and participate, and I feel some kind of eco-friendly feeling.
It is the wish of Mom's that even one sprouts and the rings continue.
An eco-friendly "Tsuzuki" brand that outsiders admire may be born.
"Tsuzuki Ward can coexist with the city and the green road. I want people who don't know much about the green path to use it more.
There are a lot of things you can do to make eco-friendly. We will further raise awareness of eco-friendly among all residents.
I hope that outsiders admire Tsuzuki's culture and climate, like Kamakura, Zushi, and Hayama, will be able to move and move. "
Moms told us a wonderful dream that we could reach if we did our best.
Well, let's go to find out how to stay close to the earth.
Go to the Green March and everyone's bazaar to find out what I can do and what I can find.
