How does the balance between work and child care change when a child enters elementary school? In order to resolve concerns and doubts that parents have before entering elementary school, Tsuzuki Ward holds lectures and information exchange meetings at the ward office in September every year.

What is the "Small One Wall"?
When a child enters elementary school, life changes greatly.
It refers to the problems that occur at that time, mainly faced by parents of dual-income work, related to balancing work and child care.

"What is the wall of small 1?" (about 50 minutes)

How does your life change when you enter elementary school? Is there anything better to prepare now? We will talk about the anxiety and doubts that parents have before entering elementary school.
Information exchange meeting (about 30 minutes)
Divided for each school to be enrolled, we will set up a place to exchange information with parents and senior parents (such as PTA) who have children entering the same school.
If you have any problems with elementary school life (Do you have a school attendance group? Are there any school events that take a break from work? What are the activities of PTA and parents? You can share about it.

Mr. Shoko Oguri, Representative Director of Athom, a certified NPO
After working for a general company, in 1998, he started nighttime childcare with a pick-up at a nursery school in Tsuzuki-ku, Yokohama.
Currently, in addition to the childcare business (nighttime childcare and Schoolchildren's Day Care), he is involved in the development of working women and child-rearing supporters.

From 8:45 to 17:00 on weekdays (except from 12 to 13:00), public health nurses and social welfare workers will respond.
Thing about child with a disability place support project (day service (elderly day care) after school, etc.)
Support for Children with Disabilities is a program to provide nursing care to elementary school student with disabilities and elementary school student who are concerned about their development.
