For elementary school students whose parents are not at home due to labor or other reasons, Yokohama City has implemented an after-school Kids Club, which utilizes spare classrooms at elementary schools, and a After-School Care Program Clubs (Schoolchildren's Day Care), which utilizes local houses and apartments.

Contents of work

Mainly, it is a job to support children's lives in clubs, watch over play, and provide snacks.

Working hours

Opening hours and working hours vary depending on the club, but the basic opening hours determined by the city are as follows.

Can I get a qualification through work?

By satisfying requirements such as working experience for a certain period of time and taking necessary training, you will be able to obtain the qualification of "After School elementary school studenｔ Support Staff" (National Common Qualification).

Is it possible to have a part-time job only during summer vacation?

Depending on the conditions for recruiting clubs, there are many clubs that accept short-term part-time jobs.
