• Notifications of family register are accepted at the city office, ward office (in the case of Tokyo's 23 wards and government ordinance-designated cities) or municipal office in the Address area.
• Necessary items and notification period differ depending on the type and content of the notification. For more information, please contact the Family Registry Section Section of your local municipal office.
• The notification form is free of charge for the whole country.
• If you are a foreigner, please contact us in advance as the necessary items are different from the Japanese or some may not be able to report.
