The current situation, issues, and theme-specific policies described in the previous chapter are divided into seven districts and nine around Hongodai Station, and Ofuna Station, referring to the division of the Union Neighborhood Associations.

◆Background
- The hills are large-scale development residential areas, and the Tando area are densely populated wooden houses. In addition, a part of KudenchoUrbanization adjustment areaIt's very important.
- The entire district has lived in 41.4% for 20 to 30 years and 16.1% for more than 30 years (2000 Sakae Ward Public Awareness Survey), and many people have lived relatively long. The population is declining.
- In developing residential areas in hilly areasBuilding AgreementHaDistrict planningconservation measures for the living environment are being implemented.
- There are many requests for early maintenance of Loop Route 4 and Kamigo Koda Line, as it is hindering regular bus operation, so there are many requests for early maintenance of Loop Route 4 and Kamigo Koda Line.
- The Yokohama Loop South Line and the Kamigo Koda Line are scheduled to pass through the district, and a "(tentative name) Koda Interchange" will be set up almost in the center.
- Around the Route 4, there are public utilities such as the Sakae public hall, Sakae Sports Center, Sakae Library and Hongo District Center.
- Rich natural resources such as Ara Izawa Shimin-no-Mori, Itachi River and Araizawa Ogawa Amenity are left. In particular, on the plateau at the border of Kamakura City, farmland has spread, leaving the landscape of satoyama deeply.
