If a person who is enrolled in National Pension Plan (Kokumin Nenkin) or who satisfies the basic age pension qualification period (in principle, 25 years) dies, the "spouse with child" or "child" whose livelihood was maintained by that person until the end of the year when the child reaches the age of 18 (until the age of 20 if the child is in a grade 1 or 2 disability).

Widow's pension

If a husband who qualifies for the basic age pension dies without receiving National Pension Plan (Kokumin Nenkin), the wife is paid in place of the husband until the age of 60 to 65.
If both a widow's pension and a lump-sum death payment apply, select one of them.

Lump-sum payment

When a person who paid National Pension Plan (Kokumin Nenkin) premiums for more than 36 months as the first insured person (including voluntary insured persons) died without receiving an old age pension or Disability Basic Pension, this is a lump-sum payment for survivors who had the same livelihood.
If both a widow's pension and a lump-sum death payment apply, select one of them.

Incentive access to Municipal Housing, etc.-House service (for children and their families)-

For mothers and children and father-child households who are in need of housing, the rate of application is 3 to 5 times preferential when recruiting public housing. The recruitment period is from April to May and from October to November every year.
