About evacuation sites during storm and flood damage

We will inform you about evacuation behavior in the event of storm and flood damage. When issuing "evacuation information" will be announced on the Nishi Ward website together with the evacuation sites established.

Last Updated December 11, 2023

What is evacuation?

Evacuation is "evacuation" from "difficult" and ensuring safety. Going to evacuation sites is not the only evacuation action.
If you can ensure safety at home in the event of a disaster, please try to evacuate at home, such as vertical evacuation. People in a safe place don't have to go to evacuation sites. Consider evacuation behavior and evacuation sites in advance, such as evacuation sites, not only the evacuation sites established by the government but also safe relatives and friends' homes.

Information on evacuation behavior

It is very important to assume evacuation behavior in advance to protect yourself from storms and floods such as typhoons and guerrilla downpours. Especially if you live in places where there is a danger of flooding or landslides, consider and be prepared for specific evacuation actions.
In addition, please prepare necessary items to take out in an emergency on a daily basis, and when evacuating, take measures against infectious diseases such as wearing a mask.
