Response to COVID-19 infection at evacuation centers in evacuation sites

In evacuation sites and evacuation centers in the event of a typhoon or major earthquake, the three conditions of "closed, dense, and close" are easily met, and there is concern about the spread of infection.
Under these circumstances, in the event of a disaster, Nishi Ward will strive to prevent viral infection by providing ventilation, hand washing, cough etiquette, and securing space for living.
Residents of the ward are encouraged to cooperate to reduce the risk of COVID-19 infection, after giving top priority to protecting themselves from disasters. .
Preparing in advance
To reduce the risk of infection
・If you can secure your safety at home in the event of a disaster, try to evacuate home to prevent the infection of the new coronavirus infection. Prepare stockpiles such as food and toilet packs in preparation for evacuation at home.
・Consider evacuation to relatives and friends' homes as well as evacuation sites evacuation centers established by the government.
・Please include masks, disinfectants, thermometers, etc. in the emergency exhibits you bring when you evacuate to an evacuation center in evacuation sites.
