About Midori Ward Health Activity Promotion Committee

Based on recommendations from the Neighborhood Association, we are engaged in various activities in the community to promote the health of citizens and as a partner in the government's health promotion measures.

As a part of community-based welfare, we help bus trips and lunch round-table conferences for those living alone, check their health at "Sawayaka Sports", and check the health of "Higahongo Festival" as part of green wa / support love We are active in community-based activities such as health checks.
In this fiscal year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we were only helping with the "Baby Classroom" in child-rearing support.
I would like to engage with the community while exploring what kind of activities we can do in the future.

Kamoi participates in various events in Neighborhood Association throughout the year.
This year, as local events were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
We helped with health checks at the opening ceremony of the “Manpo no Kai”, a healthy town walking association that started in September.
In the era of corona with COVID-19, many people have become interested in their own health.
Health promotion activities in the Kamoi area in cooperation with local communities.
I feel the significance and role as a partner who spreads knowledge on a daily basis.

A total of about 3,300 households in the 4 Neighborhood Associations, Takeyama Minami Neighborhood Association and Southern Hills Takeyama Neighborhood Association (Neighborhood Association), and the National Council of Social Welfare.
Although the population structure of the region is 40 percent of the population aged 65 and over, health consultations have been well received for health consultations with doctors from hospitals in housing complex and community care plaza staff.

In our district, gymnastics classes are held with two teachers.
Every Wednesday, body exercises such as Jiangjiang art exercises and foot pots, and once a month, sit on a chair for one and a half hours, sign language is performed during gymnastics.
I am doing my best by doing gymnastics.

Community bond with the "town-wide health promotion classroom"!
We plan and carry out projects at least six times a year with the cooperation of the Neighborhood Association, the Japan National Council of Social Welfare and Health and Welfare Center. The annual walking and ground golf twice a year (spring and early winter) have many participants every time, and it is a place for opportunities to refresh both physically and mentally.
In fiscal 2019, we adopted "Boccia", which was also a designated event of the Tokyo Paralympic Games, and became a place to deepen our bonds with everyone, with a passion for passionate battle (health promotion).

In the past few years, we have been conducting hand-washing checks at each salon in the Yamashita area to prevent influenza.
We will continue this check, which is very meaningful as a countermeasure against coronavirus, for all health activity promotion staff.

Hi-Hiokapi, who had been absent due to Corona, has resumed in September.
For the second time reopening, baby oil massage with a lecturer.
All the staff members feel rewarding and joyful at the smiles and lively appearance of the participants.

It is held 10 times a year on the third Thursday of each month (except August and December) in community hall Miho-cho for parents and children of the first child (0 years old). (Fiscal 2020 will be implemented from July)
To prevent the spread of the new coronavirus, we worked to measure the temperature at the entrance of the venue, disinfect the hands, ventilate the room, and wear a mask.
Under the guidance of a public health nurse, we provide information and guidance on parent and child gymnastics and childcare while singing nursery rhymes, and in monthly group talks for children, we are grateful for sharing information and deepening friendship between mothers.

The other day, I was impressed with the joy of saying, "While I was feeling uneasy both physically and mentally in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, the baby classroom resumed and I was able to connect with the local community." I would like to continue working on activities that are close to the local community.

As soon as we started this year, we were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Among them, health activity promotion staff, together with Tokaichiba Care Plaza staff, were able to provide health checks to local people.
We hope that in fiscal 2021 we will become a health activity promotion committee that can cooperate positively and contribute to better communities.

Due to COVID-19, all of the “Health Check Day” this year has been canceled until December. We looked for a way to hold the event even under Corona, but we gave up difficult and gave up.
Most local events have been canceled, and only cooperation in the reception of the disaster drill and other countries.
The training is the highlight of this year's health check day, "Toe strength measurement". Training is conducted to avoid denseness. 12 people participated.
We hope that the “Health Check Day”, which is also a place for participants to interact, will resume as soon as possible.

Now that various events have not been held during the COVID-19 pandemic, we are planning a War Inge, where the promotion staff can move their bodies to prevent lifestyle habits while preventing at least three Cs, "Let's know the town where we live," and set off. On the day of the event, I was exposed to the warm sunshine, put the delicious air that touched the nature, but I was surprised at the places I didn't know.
