Five water supply companies in Kanagawa Prefecture (Kanagawa Prefecture, Yokohama City, Kawasaki City, Yokosuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture Wide Area Water Supply Corporation) have common issues such as a decrease in water demand, aging facilities, and strengthening response to water quality accidents. We are studying for issues.
Until now, based on the "Kanagawa Prefectural Water Supply Business Exploratory Committee Report" compiled in 2010, 15 water purification plants have been consolidated and abolished into 11 locations according to the renewal time.
In addition, three water purification plants, including Kosuzume Purifiction Plant (co-operated facility of Motoichi and Yokosuka City) were temporarily abolished and consolidated into eight locations by the end of FY2022 were compiled as "Summary of Facility Maintenance".
In FY2023, we will continue to consider the specific contents of facility maintenance.
