Concept of future facility development

　In the business environment where water demand and toll revenues have declined in recent years, Water Works Bureau needs to promote the development of water supply facilities based on large-scale renewal of facilities developed during the period of high economic growth, disaster countermeasures, supply of safe and high-quality water, and environmental energy issues. In order to respond to these issues in the long term, we have created and published a concept of facility development with a view to 40 years ahead.
　In March 2024, we revised the concept of facility development in line with the formulation of the City of Yokohama, Water Works Bureau Medium-Term Management Plan (FY206-99) and further changes in circumstances.

　The proposal is basically equivalent to the private proposal under Article 6 of the PFI Law, but the items described in the proposal can be simplified according to the proposed PPP / PFI method.
