Kawai Purification Plant Redevelopment Project

Kawai Purification Plant was founded in 1901 and built a major facility in operation in 1963. However, due to aging and earthquake resistance problems, we decided to renew it.
When renewing, it is necessary to operate the existing facilities, so space saving can be reduced compared to the rapid sand filtration method, and effective use of location energy due to the height difference from the water source Doshi River. We decided to adopt a membrane filtration method that can do it.
In addition, since the membrane filtration method is a new technology, PFI that allows private-sector technology and know-how can be used. ※We can expect a reduction in total cost by adopting a method and combining design, construction, and maintenance, so we decided to proceed with redevelopment using PFI.
