Water Supply ICT Information Liaison Committee

In order to promote the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the water supply business, City of Yokohama, Water Works Bureau established a water supply ICT information liaison meeting in cooperation with Water Works Bureau, Tokyo and Water Works Bureau, Osaka.

• Posted individual and common issues of each water utility on the platform (common homepage).

• Recruiting new technologies in the platform

• Presentation of assignments from water utilities
• Presentations using technologies and products from private companies.

• The Information Liaison Committee was established as a place to provide information on new technologies such as ICT, and is not a place to decide on the introduction of technology.
• Each business entity will judge the introduction and adoption of technology.

Promote the use and diffusion of new technologies such as ICT in water supply business

• Economies of scale through joint transmission of large-scale water utilities (excavating potential technologies)
• We collect information on new technologies from a wide range of industries in addition to the water supply industry

• It is easy to grasp the issues faced by participating entities.
• New technologies can be promoted to participating entities at the same time.
