Temporary Loan Program

City of Yokohama, Water Works Bureau lends land owned by the Bureau, including Yokohama City and Sagamihara City, for a certain period of time (in principle, within one year). These lands can be used as material storage areas and parking lots.
However, the following items are not available.

1. For the purpose of construction of buildings (including temporary construction) such as houses and offices
2. Items that are expected to significantly impair the environment, such as bad smell, noise and soil pollution
3. Used for political or religious purposes
4. Items used for customs business purposes that fall under Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the Act on Regulations on Customs Sales and Other Businesses and Optimization of Business
5. Used for sex customs special business that falls under Article 2, Paragraph 5 of the Act on Regulations on Customs Sales and Other Businesses and Optimization of Business
6. Those that offensive to public order and morals
7. Other items judged to be unsuitable for loans

It can be used as a site for material storage, parking lot, etc.

Within one year (up to 4 updates, up to 5 years can be updated up to 5 years)
※The period of use and purpose of use vary depending on the property.
※If City of Yokohama, Water Works Bureau uses public or public use, you may be required to return it even during the loan period.

Individuals, groups, and corporations can apply. However, those listed below are excluded.

1. Those who do not have the ability to enter into contracts and those who are bankrupt and do not obtain reinstatement
2. A person who violates the terms of contract and has not passed two years after this fact.
3. A person who has not concluded a contract without justifiable reason and has not passed two years after this fact has occurred
4. Gangsters and their members who fall under Article 2, item 2 of the Act on the Prevention of Unjust Acts by Gangsters
5. Organizations, officers, employees, and members who have received dispositions set forth in Article 8, Paragraph 2, Item 1 of the Act on Regulation of Organizations that Performed Indiscriminate Mass Murder
6. In addition, those who are judged to be unsuitable as borrowers

The fair value calculated based on the criteria set by the City of Yokohama, Water Works Bureau. If the use is decided, you will be required to pay the entire loan fee for the loan period in advance.
※Please note that due to the difference in the land unit price used as the calculation base, the amount differs for each property, even if the loan is made during the same period and the same area.

No new property is available.

If there is no application for a new property, it will be a “continuing property” and applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Applications for properties currently listed in the "Property List" will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please submit "use application such as water supply sites" (first style) to jurisdiction section of each ownership land.
