Temporary loan system

City of Yokohama, Water Works Bureau will lend land owned by the bureau for a certain period of time (in principle, within one year) including Yokohama and Sagamihara. These lands can be used as material storage and parking lots.
However, the following items cannot be used.

1. The purpose of the construction of buildings (including temporary construction) such as houses and offices
2. Items that are expected to significantly impair the environment, such as odor, noise, and soil contamination.
3. Used for political or religious purposes
4. Used for customs business purposes that fall under Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the Act on Regulations on Customs Business and Optimization of Business
5. Used for special sex business purposes that fall under Article 2, Paragraph 5 of the Act on Regulations on Customs Sales and Other Businesses and Optimization of Business
6. Anything that violates public order and morals
7. Other items that are judged to be unsuitable for loans

It can be used as a site such as a material storage area or parking lot.

Within 1 year (up to 4 renewals and can be updated up to 5 years)
※The period of use and the purpose of use vary depending on the property.
※If City of Yokohama, Water Works Bureau uses it for public or public use, you may be required to return it even during the loan period.

Individuals, organizations, and corporations can apply. However, the following persons are excluded.

1. Those who do not have the ability to conclude a contract or those who are bankrupt and do not obtain reinstatement
2. Those who have violated the terms and conditions and have not passed two years after this fact has occurred
3. A person who has not signed a contract without justifiable reason and has not passed two years after this fact has occurred
4. Gangsters and their members who fall under Article 2, Item 2 of the Act on Prevention of Unjust Acts by Gangsters
5. Organizations, officers, employees, and members who have been subject to the dispositions set forth in Article 8, Paragraph 2, Item 1 of the Act on Regulations of Organizations that Performed Indiscriminate Mass Murders
6. In addition, those who are judged to be unsuitable as lessee

Lending fees are calculated based on the standards set by City of Yokohama, Water Works Bureau. If you decide to use it, you will be required to pay the full loan fee for the loan period in advance.
※Please note that due to differences in the land unit price, which is the basis for calculation, even if the loan is in the same period and the same area, the amount will differ for each property.

The use start date will be after Tuesday, April 1, 2025.
The application period is until Monday, November 25, 2024. By the same day (must arrive), please mail the application form to the responsible section (Aoyama Water Source Office).

If there is no application for a new property, it will be a "continuous property" and applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Applications for properties currently listed in the "Property List" will also be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please submit "water supply land use application" to jurisdiction section of each possession land.

※The land list will be added or deleted at any time, but it may not be available due to circumstances even if it is posted.
