About municipal ownership land temporary loan
The planned business site or alternative land owned by Yokohama City may be available for other purposes until the city uses it for business etc.
For such municipal land, we provide short-term loans as construction material storage, temporary construction offices, model room sites, etc.

How to apply
Please fill out the application form for public property loan with required items and submit it to the Finance Bureau Facility Management Promotion Section.
Please be sure to consult in advance before submitting the application form.
If there is no prior consultation, you may be refused even if you submit an application.

Application period
From the 1st to the 10th of the previous month of the month to which the use start date belongs (you can apply every month)
If the 10th is a closed day, it will be until the next open day.
If there are multiple applications, the user may be determined according to the purpose of use, and lottery etc. may be conducted.
If there is no application during the application period, we will lend it on a first-come, first-served basis from the end of the application period to the end of the month.

Purpose of use
As a general rule, temporary use (as a site for material storage, temporary construction offices, model rooms, etc.)
- Please note that you will have to pay if you need to rebuild the fence, etc. because it will be loaned in the original state. In addition, after the loan period, you will need to return to the state when you lent the land.
- If you use it in a material storage area, etc., noise or dust may cause inconvenience to the neighborhood, so please give an explanation to nearby residents in advance before submitting the application form . Please apply after having sufficient understanding of the neighborhood.
Loan period
As a general rule, it is within one year, but can be renewed up to two years.
- The rental period and purpose of use vary depending on the property.
- When Yokohama-shi uses for public use or public use, we may have you return even during the loan period.

Eligible users
It can be used by individuals, groups, and corporations.
Usage Fees
The fair value calculated based on the criteria set by Yokohama City will be the loan fee.
If you decide to use it, you will be required to pay the entire loan fee for the loan period before contract.
Please note that due to differences in the land unit price, which is the basis for calculation, even if the loan is in the same period and the same area, the amount will differ for each property.
