Consumer protection agreements with business associations

The Consumer Protection Agreement promotes voluntary activities of business groups stipulated in the Yokohama City Consumer Ordinance, establishes a consultation desk to receive various consultations and complaints from consumers, and improves businesses that are members of the group. The purpose is to prevent consumer troubles by having the business group provide guidance and training.
Yokohama City has enacted the "Consumer Protection Agreement Implementation Guidelines with Business Organizations" and has established principles for Yokohama City and business associations to conclude consumer protection agreements.
