Announcement of TV reception countermeasure construction by 700MHz Usage Promotion Association

From around June 2018, each mobile phone operator has started using new radio waves (700MHz band) at any time in Yokohama City.
As a result, some TV images may be affected.
Construction work to prevent this effect was carried out by the 700MHz Usage Promotion Association (established by NTT DOCOMO, INC., KDDI Corporation, Okinawa Cellular Telephone Co., Ltd., and SoftBank Corp.) The 700MHz Usage Promotion Association bears the cost.
In addition, construction workers do not charge any costs.

Areas where countermeasures are required

From around February 2020, the following flyers will be distributed to areas where reception problems are likely to occur.
At a later date, workers will visit and explain the details of the work, give their approval, and take countermeasure work free of charge.
Workers carry a "Television Reception Failure Countermeasure Card". If you feel suspicious, please contact the 700MHz TV Reception Failure Countermeasure Call Center (0120-700-012).
