For those who wish to take a regular inspection

Please make sure that the following applies.

1 Application/Ledger Registration

For new test applications, please refer to the "Flow of Periodic Inspection Application" below.
If you have already taken the test 2 years ago, you do not need to contact us. (If there is a change in the name or Address, please let us know.)

2 Advance Notice

As the time of the periodic inspection approaches, you will receive an inspection guide (postcard).
・Periodic inspections are conducted around each region. (Excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays)

3. Implementation of inspections

Visit during the inspection visit period (about 2 weeks) described in the guide.

4 Attach a certificate of regular inspection

If you pass the inspection, a regular inspection certificate (passing seal) will be affixed to the "scale".
・Please refer to the following "If you fail the test" for the response in case of failure.

5. Payment of fees

Please pay the inspection fee in cash. ⇒Fees for periodic inspection

Notes
・In principle, the date and time cannot be specified.
・If the inspection fails, it cannot be used for transactions and certifications until the repair is performed.
・Repairs and maintenance are not possible. (If you wish, please contact the dealer or manufacturer.)

≫For consultation and inquiries regarding patrol inspections, please contact the organization that sent the inspection guidance (postcard).

≫If you would like to take the test outside of the above flow, please consider a substitute test. ⇒What is the difference?

・Name of examinee, person in charge, Address, contact information
・Type of scale (electric type / mechanical type), capacity (maximum kg that can be weighed), number
・Regular holidays, business hours, presence or absence of parking space

≫After preparing the necessary information, contact the measuring inspection station or designated periodic inspection organization.

"Scales" that fail in the periodic inspection cannot be used for transactions and certifications as they are.
In the case of rejection, the certification seal of the target "scale" will be removed, and a "notification of failure of measurement inspection" and "notification of processing of failed measuring instruments" will be issued.
Please repair, dispose of, or purchase a new product, fill out the “Notice of Disposal of Failure Meter” with required items and send it to the organization that inspected it.
