Overview

We carry out "Relocation Support experimental project, which allows child-rearing households to rent a house owned by the elderly who wish to relocate at a low rent.

About application of elderly household wanting to rent home

The following conditions must be met in order to use The Relocation Support experimental project

Business users

  1. Generally at least 60 years old
  2. As a general rule, a person who does not live or who lives together is a spouse or a relative over 60 years old.

Target housing

  1. Being a house in the city
  2. Conforms to the current seismic-related regulations (you can use the Yokohama City Seismic Retrofit Improvement Promotion Project)
  3. Floor area of 55m2 or more
  4. Do not violate the Building Standards Law

Rental conditions

  1. Conclusion of a fixed-term lease contract with a contract period of 6 years or more (this does not apply if there is an agreement between the elderly household, the cooperative management company and the child-rearing household)
  2. Sublease rent to child-rearing households must be less than 90% of market rent.

Elderly households who meet the above conditions and can provide housing to child-rearing households can preferentially move into excellent rental housing for the elderly in Yokohama. (You will have to select the desired housing from among the excellent rental housing for the elderly to be recruited.)

About application of child care household wanting to move in

In order to move into a support house under a Relocation Support experimental project must be met.

Business users

  1. The total number of households seeking to move into support housing is two or more.
  2. Relatives (excluding spouses) who are going to live together have children under the age of 20
  3. Living or working in the city
  4. Being a household that does not include relatives within the third degree of the person providing the house to move in

Rental conditions (the following lease agreement must be signed)

  1. Conclusion of a fixed-term lease agreement with a contract period of 6 years or more
