Yokohama City does not collect fire extinguisher.
Manufacturers are recycling waste fire extinguisher.
fire extinguisher is disposed of by the Japan fire extinguisher Industries Association in cooperation with dealers in fire extinguisher.

Flow of the fire extinguisher Recycling System
Using a recycling seal, we will bring it to a specific window such as a dealer or a designated pick-up place such as a manufacturer's office or request collection.

※However, aerosol type (spray type) fire extinguishing spray is not fire extinguisher and is not eligible.

Please refer to the Fire Bureau website for details of the accident and applicable products.
For information on how to dispose of the applicable aerosol fire extinguisher, do not dispose of it as a "spray can" but contact the manufacturer.
