How to put out a personal computer (Handling of Home PCs)

Manufacturers and displays that are no longer needed at home are required by the Law for Promotion of Effective Utilization of Resources (external site).
Manufacturers collect PCs (main unit / display) with the PC recycling mark free of charge.
PCs that do not have a collection obligation, such as self-made PCs and personal computers from overseas manufacturers that have withdrawn from Japan, are also subject to recycling.
The Personal Computer 3R Promotion Association collects it.
In addition, the Small Home Appliance Recycling Law (outside site) was enforced in 2013, and from May 1, 2016, we started collecting personal computers as small home appliance recycling in Yokohama City.
In addition, small home appliance recycling certified businesses (private companies) also collect personal computers.
