Area around Kanazawa Bunko Station
Last Updated July 22, 2024
Current status of the district
In the east side of the station, cultivated land is arranged before the war, and a shopping street is formed in front of the station. As consumer needs change and large-scale stores enter the surrounding area one after another, the former vibrancy is being lost, and the lack of sufficient traffic plazas has reduced the traffic function in front of the station.
In the west area of the station, construction of low-side stores and apartment is progressing rapidly along the road along the Mudgame Kamariya Line.
District maintenance policy
In order to promote redevelopment around stations suitable for the Kanazawa Ward base, the city is promoting urban development based on the following policy.
- On the east side of the station, we plan to enhance the transportation infrastructure and consider town planning to revitalize the area and improve disaster prevention.
- About individual architectural plan, we guide safe and comfortable town planning including securing of pedestrian space by prior consultation.
