We appointed "non-combustible promotion area" based on "non-combustible promotion regulations".

What is the Non-combustible Promotion Area?
Based on the regulations Article 5 Clause 1 about promotion of non-combustible buildings in Yokohama-shi non-combustible promotion area, as "area where significant damage may occur to buildings due to fire spread when earthquake fire occurs" It is area which the mayor appointed on February 25, 2015.
When building a building on or after July 1, 2015, in this area, in principle, it is mandatory to be "quasi-fireproof building" or more.
When designated as a non-combustible promotion area
Fire protection regulations will be strengthened.
When building a building in the area (excluding fire prevention areas) after July 1, 2015, in principle, "quasi-fire-resistant buildings" ※It is obligatory to do so. (Please see this (Housing and Architecture Bureau Building Planning Division homepage) for the contents of fire prevention regulations.)
※Semi-fireproof buildings
In the case of wooden buildings, buildings in which important parts of the building, such as pillars, beams, and walls, are covered with non-combustible materials such as school boards, and fire prevention equipment such as netted glass are provided at openings such as windows.
We can receive building fireproofing promotion business assistance.
Under certain conditions, when removing (dismantling) an old building or building a non-flammable building, subsidize a part of the retirement construction cost and design / construction cost (equivalent to enhancing fire resistance) We can receive "building fireproofing promotion business assistance".
