Overview
In the "Yokohama City disaster preparedness plan Earthquake Countermeasures Edition", which came into effect in April 2013, the reduce disaster damage target was set to reduce the estimated damage. At the same time, in order to achieve that goal, the "Yokohama City Earthquake Disaster Prevention Strategy" was formulated in April 2013.
In response to this, regarding "reduction of damage caused by fire", which is a key measure of the earthquake disaster prevention strategy, the wooden house damage reduction subcommittee of the Earthquake Disaster Prevention Strategy Promotion Project examined specific measures, and in March 2014, "Earthquake Fire Countermeasures Policy in the Yokohama City Earthquake Disaster Prevention Strategy".
※In the materials published in April 2014, there were some simple errors in the contents, so we replaced them with the correct one on May 14, 2014.
※On December 26, 2014, we added the rank of "fire risk" of each town street in "target area" related to area setting of "important measures area (non-combustible promotion area)" .
※Because "priority measures area (non-combustible promotion area)" was decided on February 25, 2015, we revised mention contents to reflect it.
※On March 31, 2015, the Mudgame Kamariya Line (Kanazawa Ward) was changed from a candidate route to a priority route for earthquake and fire countermeasures.
