Earthquake and fire countermeasures plan in dense urban areas of Yokohama
In March 2023, in order to reduce damage to buildings and to promote disaster prevention and reduce disaster damage initiatives more effectively, we formulated the "Earthquake Fire Countermeasure Plan in the densely populated Urban Areas of Yokohama" with a planning period from FY2023 to FY2032.
By continuing to promote earthquake and fire countermeasures that have been promoted so far in dense urban areas, "target areas", efforts to minimize the damage caused by earthquake fires will lead to improvements in the living environment, We aim to realize a city that is hard to live and livable.
