Earthquake and fire countermeasures plan in densely populated city of Yokohama

In March 2023, we formulated the "Earthquake Fire Countermeasures Plan in the densely populated area of Yokohama City" with a planning period from FY2023 to FY2032 in order to reduce the damage to buildings and to promote disaster prevention and reduce disaster damage more effectively.

By continuing to promote earthquake and fire countermeasures that we have been promoting so far in the “target area”, which is a dense urban area, efforts to minimize the damage caused by earthquake fires will lead to improvements in the living environment. We aim to realize a town that is easy to live.
