"Zero Carbon Yokohama Next-Generation Automobile Exhibition in Minato Mirai" was held.

Based on the Yokohama City Global Warming Countermeasures Action Plan, Yokohama City is promoting the spread of next-generation vehicles in order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from the transportation sector. We have concluded a cooperation agreement with each automaker and 12 dealers to affect the spread of next-generation vehicles, and will work on PR of next-generation vehicles.
"Zero Carbon Yokohama Next-Generation Automobile Exhibition in Minato Mirai" was held at Sakuragicho-sta. Square on Thursday, November 3rd.

  Exhibit 11 electric vehicles, plug-in hybrid vehicles, and fuel cell vehicles
(2) How to use external power supply function PR exhibition  
 ・Introducing new ways to use next-generation vehicles that can be used for various purposes such as disaster prevention and leisure activities.
 ・A sample of V2H charging and discharging equipment by Nichicon Corporation is also exhibited.
  Next-generation vehicles are equipped with very large batteries and power generation functions.
  It is also possible to supply electricity from the car.

What is an electric vehicle (EV)?

It is a car that drives the motor with the charged electricity.

What is a plug-in hybrid vehicle (PHV)?

A hybrid vehicle (HV) that runs with both gasoline engines and motors, is equipped with a larger battery so that it can be plugged from a household power supply and charge.
It is possible to run only with the power supplied, and if it is short-distance travels around the city, it can be driven only by a motor, so CO2 emissions while driving is zero.

What is Fuel Cell Vehicles (FCVs)?

It is a car that runs using electricity generated by the chemical reaction of hydrogen and oxygen. Unlike gasoline-powered vehicles, they run by the motor instead of the engine.

What is V2H charging and discharging equipment (V2H)?

Abbreviation of "Vehicle to Home", it is a device that can not only charge electric vehicles, but also powers buildings from electric vehicles to buildings.
