"Zero Carbon Yokohama Next-Generation Vehicle Test Drive Event in Minato Mirai" was held.
Based on the Yokohama City Global Warming Countermeasures Action Plan, Yokohama City is promoting the spread of next-generation vehicles in order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. As part of this effort, we have concluded cooperation agreements with automakers and dealers, and are working to promote next-generation vehicles.
This time, as the second agreement event, "Zero Carbon Yokohama Next-Generation Vehicle Test Drive Event in Minato Mirai" was held.

Test drive vehicle
What is an electric vehicle (EV)?
It is a car that drives the motor with the charged electricity.
What is a plug-in hybrid vehicle (PHV)?
A hybrid vehicle (HV) that runs with both gasoline engines and motors, is equipped with a larger battery so that it can be plugged from a household power supply and charge. It is possible to run only with the power supplied, and if it is short-distance travels around the city, it can be driven only by a motor, so CO2 emissions while driving is zero.
What is Fuel Cell Vehicles (FCVs)?
It is a car that runs using electricity generated by the chemical reaction of hydrogen and oxygen. Unlike gasoline-powered vehicles, they run by the motor instead of the engine.
Test ride time
[Reception closed] Advance reservations (from Saturday, February 11, Reiwa 5 to Sunday, 19)
Advance reservations have ended because the capacity has been reached on Saturday, February 11th.
・In making a reservation, "user registration" is necessary as an individual in the Yokohama City Electronic Application and Notification System (outside site). If you have not registered, please register from the new registration button on the top page.
・Advance reservations can be made up to one per person on a first-come, first-served basis. If you wish to test more than one test drive, you will be able to do so if there is space in the reception space on the day.
・When you file from the top page of Yokohama-shi electronic application, report system, please search for "test ride" from "list of procedures (for individuals)" and select reservation form.
Reception on the day
Reception will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Numbered tickets will be distributed at the Yokohama City Hall Atrium from 10 o'clock on the day. Please note that there is a limited number of test drive frames.
In addition, only one numbered ticket can be distributed at one reception desk. After the test drive is over, you can receive a numbered ticket for the next test drive.
Precautions
1 At the time of reception, check your driver's license and alcohol check before the test drive.
2 In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infection, please cooperate with cough etiquette, such as wearing a mask.
If you have a poor physical condition, please refrain from coming to the agency.
Those who are 4 or less are not allowed to test drive.
(1) Those who do not have a driver's license
(2) Those who have been receiving a driver's license for less than one year (excluding the validity period)
(3) Pregnant
(4) Those who drink alcohol
(5) Those who are taking drugs
(6) Those who are wearing footwear that are not suitable for driving (sandals, high heels, etc.)
(7) Those who cannot confirm before the test drive and sign the test drive pledge
(8) In addition, those who are judged to have safety problems at the reception.
5 The test drive will be accompanied by a person in charge of the car manufacturer or dealer.
6 People under the age of 6 cannot ride on board because it is not equipped with a child seat.
7 Pets are not allowed to ride with pets.
8 Even after reception and during a test drive, we may have to cancel it.
9 Due to the spread of COVID-19, bad weather, etc., the test drive may be changed or canceled.
In principle, all accidents during test drives are the responsibility of the driver.
11 If the reception is not completed by the test drive start time, it will be treated as cancellation, so please be careful not to delay the start time.
