Sweet potato harvesting experience in Miyakooka (recruitment ended)

Under the guidance of farmers, you will experience harvesting sweet potatoes.

The variety to be harvested is "Beniharuka", which has an excellent appearance and a high sugar content when steamed.
Why don't you dig up the delicious potatoes that the farmers have made with your own hands?

Outline of the event

Depending on crop growth and the spread of COVID-19, the event may be canceled or the content of the event may be canceled or changed. Thank you for your understanding.

Saturday, October 21, 2023
1st time: From 14 o'clock
2nd time: From 15:00
In case of stormy weather, each round will be postponed until Sunday, October 22, 2023.

Capacity

Up to 40 pairs each time

  • Those living in the city
  • Family, groups, and individuals are also allowed to participate.
  • In the case of a large number of applications. The results will be notified by email only to the winners by Friday, October 13.
  • Please make settings so that you can receive emails from the Miyakooka Megumi no Sato Management Council "tuoka9333@gmail.com" (for transmission only).
Participation fee

1,000 yen per set (you can take home about 3 plants you can take home)

Belongings

Clothes, boots, work gloves, towels, drinks, backpacks (for carrying harvests), masks, etc.

Venue

Field in Imajuku Minamicho, Asahi-ku
From the north exit of Futamatagawa Station, get off at "New Town No. 4" by Sotetsu Bus and walk for 9 minutes.
From Tsurugamine Station, take the Kanagawa Chuo Kotsu Bus and get off at Imajuku and walk for 9 minutes.
