Under the guidance of farmers, you will experience "rice harvesting" and "threshing".
Using a saw scythe, harvest one plant at a time.
Put it in a bundle, hang it on a rod and dry it.
After drying enough in the sun, experience threshing using a threshing machine.
Comes with brown rice souvenirs!

Outline of the event
Date and time

This is a two-part course of rice harvesting and threshing.
1st rice harvesting: From 9:30 a.m. on September 23, 2023 (holiday, Saturday)
2nd Threshing: From 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 7, 2023
※In case of rain, the schedule will be changed.

Capacity

Those who live in the city. Up to 20 pairs (single body, groups and families can also participate.)
※In the case of a large number of applications, lottery will be made, and only the winners will be notified by e-mail by Friday, September 15th.
※Please make settings so that you can receive emails from the Miyakooka Megumi no Sato Management Council "tuoka9333@gmail.com" (for transmission only).

Participation fee

6,000 yen (per set)
※Comes with souvenirs of about 5 kilograms of brown rice

Rice field in Yashi-cho, Asahi-ku (near to Shimokawai IC)
From the north exit of Sotetsu Mitsukyo Station, take the Kannanaka Bus / Sotetsu Bus "116 bound for Wakabadai Chuo".
Get off at "Yasashicho Entrance"
