Forest land maintenance subsidy project About subsidy for management work by damage of Feng Shui snow damage

Based on the Yokohama Green Up Plan, Yokohama City has implemented a program to subsidize a portion of the cost of management work related to Feng Shui Snow Damage in designated areas under the Green Area conservation System.

Forest land to be subsidized

It is the same as a normal forest land maintenance subsidy project.

Work and work locations to be subsidized

If a storm, storm, storm, heavy rain, heavy snow, flood warning or heavy snow warning is issued to Yokohama City, and if damage is caused by Feng Shui Snow Damage, warning related to Feng Shui Snow Damage and warning's announcement, the work described in the table below is covered.

Trees and bamboo     

Cutting and fallen trees

It shall fall under any of the following among the highly urgent work performed at the outer periphery of the forest area and at places provided for general use, such as public roads inside the forest area. In addition, those that affect only the inside of the forest area are excluded.

(1) Trees and bamboos that damage life, body and property

(2) Trees and bamboos that have seriously hindered the functions of public facilities such as roads, electric wires, telephone lines, etc.


Expenses to be subsidized

  • Expenses required for the work to be subsidized
  • Expenses required for the removal, transportation and disposal of waste generated by the work covered by the subsidy

※Depending on the status of the applicant's final tax return, the consumption tax may not be eligible for the subsidy.

Grant amount

All expenses to be subsidized.
However, the maximum amount of the grant is 500,000 yen.
※The grant amount is in units of 1,000 yen. The difference will be borne by the applicant.

Flow of Procedure

The procedure for granting is as follows.
The number of applications that can be submitted is one per alarm / warning announcement.

  • Multiple forest land can be combined into one case.
  • If there are multiple right holders on one lot number, only one person can apply.

1.Implementation of management work due to damage from Feng Shui Snow Damage

Work must be done within 10 days from the date of the warning and warning announcement.

2.Grant application and submission of performance report

Within 21 days from the completion date of work (postmark valid)

Documents to be submitted by all persons
  • Grant application and performance report
  • Neighboring sketches and floor plans
  • Local photos
  • Balance sheet
  • Invoice (copy) of the contractor who worked
  • Receipt (copy) of the contractor, etc.
  • Waste disposal slip
  • Check sheet for confirmation items
Documents to be submitted only by the relevant person
  • Identity Confirmation Documents
  • Certificate of entry (copy)

3.Implementation of completion inspection by Yokohama City (on-site confirmation will be performed as necessary)

After submitting the documents, it may take about one and a half to two months to confirm the grant.

4.Request for grant

After the grant is confirmed to the end of March
The grant will be paid in about one month after the applicant submits the grant payment invoice.
