The following activities are eligible for the grant.
・Activities to promote the utilization of forested areas, such as nature observation meetings
・Activities to promote planned forest creation, such as biological surveys
・Activities related to the development of human resources responsible for forest creation activities

The above activities will support the expenses required for the following work.
・Consignment fee (minimum commission fee required for public relations activities, such as flyer and website creation)
・Rewards to external lecturers or external instructors
・Printing and bookbinding, consumables, rent, service, telecommunications and transportation

The grant amount is up to 100,000 yen, 8/10 grant. (per group per year)

The procedure for the grant is as follows. For applications, the Green Environment Bureau Environmental Activity Support Center will be the contact point for groups working in forest areas such as Shimin-no-Mori, and the Environmental Activities Division will be the contact point.

When we use forest land when we perform nature observation meetings, it is necessary to get consent of landowner or approval of city before grant application.
・For forest land which city establishes and manages, please submit activity approval application to park green tract of land office of jurisdiction, and please obtain activity approval.
・When using privately owned forest land, obtain the consent of the landowner (those that indicate that the consent has been obtained).
