When constructing new drainage facilities, flushing toilets, abolishing human waste septic tanks, etc., submit a “Application for Confirmation of Drainage Facilities (Remodeling of Washing Toilet) Plan” to the Public Works Office in each ward in advance, and the plan is It must be confirmed by the mayor that it conforms to the laws and regulations on the installation and structure of drainage facilities, including the Sewerage Law and the Yokohama City Sewerage Ordinance. Under the Yokohama City Sewerage Ordinance,

In the Yokohama City Sewerage Ordinance, "(Drainage designated construction shop) must not start unless it is a construction that has been confirmed by the mayor." (Article 38, Paragraph 3).
