Yokohama City Drainage Equipment Handbook

Sewerage plays a key role in improving the living environment, preventing flooding, and conservation water quality in public water bodies.

Even if sewerage facilities are maintained, the role of sewerage cannot be fulfilled unless drainage facilities that allow sewage to flow into public sewers, etc. are not fully equipped.

Drainage equipment is an important facility that can only achieve the purpose of the sewer by being quickly and accurately maintained integrally with the public sewer.
Therefore, it is important for drainage facilities to be properly designed and constructed according to the technical standards stipulated by laws and regulations, and to perform proper maintenance.

When we are going to perform new construction of drainage facilities, we submit "drainage equipment (wash toilet remodeling) plan confirmation application" beforehand, and the plan is setting of drainage facilities including the Sewerage Law and Yokohama-shi sewer regulations and You must receive confirmation of the mayor that it conforms to laws and regulations about structure, the regulations.
