The burial status of the public sewer can be checked by the "Public Sewer Ledger Map", and whether it is an area announced as a treatment area by the "Public Sewerage Service Start Area Map".
These drawings can be viewed at the Public Works Office of each ward and the Sewerage River Bureau Sewer Management Division (telephone 671-2832).
In addition, since April 2007, we provide reference figure as "public sewer ledger figure information (nickname: Daichan map)" (outside site) in "administrative map reporting system" of Yokohama-shi homepage, please use .
- Processing area
- The area where the sewer has been maintained and the sewage can be treated at the Water Reclamation Center is called a "treatment area."
In addition, there are two types of sewers: a diversion type (a method of separating sewage and rainwater and flowing them into sewage pipes and rainwater pipes, respectively) and a combined type (a method of combining sewage and rainwater into the sewer with a single drainage pipe).
These can be confirmed in "public sewer service start area figure".
