Outline of the event
The Yokohama Institute of Environmental Science will hold a "Summer Vacation Children's Environmental Science Class" for elementary school 4th to 6th graders and their parents on Friday, August 18, 2023. You can learn about the environment through participation in workshops, analytical equipment that you cannot usually see, and actual exhibitions of creatures in Yokohama. Let's have fun learning about the environment and become an environmental doctor! Please apply!

Let's science color (simple science experiment)
In the morning, we conduct an experiment to separate the color of aqueous pen with paper and water, and in the afternoon, we will grind and filter plants and observe fluorescent substances.

Challenge the dissection of Niboshi!
That "Niboshi" is used for cooking dashi and delicious to eat as it is. Let's have fun learning about the body of the fish!

Access
JR Keihin Tohoku Line / Negishi Line: A 15-minute walk from Shinkoyasu Station
Keihinkyuko Line: 15 minutes walk from Keikyu Shinkoyasu Station
Municipal bus system 19: Take "Shinkoyasu Station" and get off at "Ebisu-cho" 3-minute walk.
(Note) There are no parking spaces or bicycle parking lots for the general public, so please use public transportation when you come to our laboratory.

- The day of the event will be photographed at Yokohama City Institute of Environmental Science for recording. (We will not post photos that can identify individuals.)
