In order to purify the water quality of Tokyo Bay, the Tokyo Bay Coast Municipal Government will discuss wide-area measures and conduct enlightenment on environmental conservation for Gulf residents, and aim to promote solidarity and unified environmental administration. Meeting.

The meeting is made up of 26 municipalities in 16 cities, 1 town and 6 special wards in one prefecture and two prefectures facing the Tokyo Bay coast.

Activities

The main activities are as follows.
(1) Promotion of environmental surveys that require comprehensive and wide-area implementation
(2) Request activities for the national government and companies
(3) Exchange of technologies and information
(4) Gathering and providing information on Tokyo Bay
(5) Dissemination and Awareness
(6) Implementation of other business necessary for the purpose

Recent Activities

Tokyo Bay Thanksgiving Day 2023

We exhibited at the Tokyo Bay Great Thanksgiving Day 2023 to promote awareness of the water environment in Tokyo Bay.
Date and time: Saturday, October 14, 2023 from 10:00 to 17:00
Location: Yokohama City Hall Atrium

At the booth exhibition, fishing games, panel displays, distribution of educational products (eco bags), etc. were carried out, and about 300 people came.
In addition, at the stage event, seaweed eating was compared with the cooperation of related fishing associations, and about 100 people participated.
