Tokyo Bay Revitalization Action Plan

The Tokyo Bay Revitalization Action Plan clarifies measures to be implemented over the next 10 years and their plans, under the cooperation and division of roles between prefectures and cities and related ministries, toward the regeneration of Tokyo Bay through water quality improvement. Thing.
Until now, we have formulated the "Action Plan for the Revitalization of Tokyo Bay" with a planning period from 2003 to 2013 and from 2013 to 2023, and have been working on it for two periods. In March 2023, we formulated the Action Plan for the Regeneration of Tokyo Bay (Third Phase) and are promoting comprehensive measures to regenerate the water environment in Tokyo Bay.

In the Action Plan for the Revitalization of Tokyo Bay (Second Phase), the establishment of the "Tokyo Bay Revitalization Public-Private Partnership Forum" was specified to expand the circle of activities for the revitalization of Tokyo Bay through the participation of various stakeholders, including the private sector. Monitoring Subcommittee

The Monitoring Subcommittee of the Tokyo Bay Revitalization Promotion Council is engaged in monitoring and analysis of the marine environment of Tokyo Bay, such as simultaneous surveys of Tokyo Bay and examination of survey items.
