About road design consultation

　This refers to technical consultation in road construction work that is not based on development activities performed by other than road managers. As a general rule, after answering the preliminary survey request form for road donation, please consult with the design as a condition. Examples include land readjustment, redevelopment, Yusuichi project, river project, and road construction work associated with the housing complex prefecture.

　Please plan to conform to the regulations (the regulations No. 84 establishment: December 28, 2012) about technical standard of structure of Yokohama-shi road. In addition, please adopt the latest version as there are Yokohama-shi original standards, and please design after careful.

　The Road and Highway Bureau Maintenance Division will be the general contact point, so please consult in advance from the initial stage of the plan. Depending on the contents of the plan, you will have individual discussions with the relevant sections (PDF: 80KB).

　About notice of start, please submit predetermined style to maintenance section after design discussion. Be sure to start construction after submitting the notification of start.

　If there is a change in the content of the consultation, first report it to the Maintenance Division and ask for instructions. As a general rule, you will need to discuss the change, but only minor items can be processed by notification of change. The minor items are as follows.

• Change of drawings that are not related to roads (change of shape on site, etc.)
• Changes due to common sense error expected due to normal construction accuracy
• Change of partial shape in detailed drawings, etc.
• In addition, those approved by the road manager

　About notification of completion, please submit predetermined style to maintenance section before receiving completion inspection. After receiving the notification of completion, a completion inspection will be conducted, so please adjust the schedule with the Maintenance Division and Public Works Office.
　Upon receipt of the notification of completion, the necessary/required procedures and the Road Ledger will be completed in separate consultations. Please submit the relevant sections and the creation of necessary/required procedures and road ledgers after consultation and notification in detail.

　About intermediate inspection, we perform intermediate meeting based on stage confirmation list listed in common civil engineering work specifications (Yokohama-shi). Inspections will be conducted jointly by the Maintenance Division and the Public Works Office, so please make arrangements with the Maintenance Division and Public Works Office in advance. In addition, if individual consultations are being held separately, there will be necessary meetings, so be sure to take the inspection without forgetting to adjust the schedule.

　Completion inspection will be conducted after submitting a notification of completion. Inspections will be conducted by document inspection and on-site inspection. Documents must be submitted to the Maintenance Division at least one week before the on-site inspection. As a general rule, on-site inspections will be conducted jointly by the Maintenance Division and the Public Works Office, so please make arrangements with the Maintenance Division and Public Works Office in advance.

　The main consultations include traffic manager consultation with the prefectural police, drainage consultation, and national highway consultation. As a general rule, we will have you discuss in the cause person and report to the road manager, so please consult with related organizations before the basic design consultation.
