About road design consultation

　It refers to technical consultation in road construction work that is not based on development activities performed by other than road managers. As a general rule, after answering the preliminary survey request form for road donation, please consult the design as a condition. Examples include land readjustment, redevelopment, Yusuichi project, river business, road construction work associated with the prefectural housing complex.

　Please plan to conform to the regulations (the regulations 84th establishment: December 28, 2012) about technical standard of structure of Yokohama-shi road. In addition, please adopt the latest version as there are Yokohama City's own standards, etc., and please design after attention.

　The Road and Highway Bureau Maintenance Division will be the general contact point, so please consult in advance from the early stage of the plan. Depending on the contents of the plan, please have individual consultation with the relevant section (PDF: 80KB).

　About start notice, please submit predetermined style to maintenance section after design discussion. Please be sure to start construction after submitting the start notification.

　If there is a change in the content of the consultation, first report it to the Maintenance Division immediately and ask for instructions. As a general rule, change consultation will be held, but only minor items can be processed by notification of change. Minor items are as follows.

• Changes in drawings that are not related to roads (such as changes in the shape of the site)
• Changes due to common sense error expected due to normal construction accuracy
• Partial geometry change in detailed drawings
• In addition, thing which road manager recognized

　About completion notice, please submit predetermined style to maintenance section before receiving completion inspection. A completion inspection will be conducted after receiving the notification of completion, so please adjust the schedule with the Maintenance Division and Public Works Office.
　Receipt of completion notification will be made after the preparation of necessary/required procedures and road ledgers in separate consultation. Please submit after consulting and reporting in detail about each section and making of necessary/required procedures and road ledger.

　About intermediate inspection, we perform middle meeting based on list of stage confirmation list listed in civil engineering work common specifications (Yokohama-shi). Inspections will be conducted jointly by the Maintenance Division and the Public Works Office, so please arrange the schedule in advance with the Maintenance Division and Public Works Office. In addition, if individual consultations are being held separately, please be sure to check the schedule, etc., as there are necessary standing arrangements for each inspection.

　Completion inspection will be conducted after submission of the completion notification. The inspection involves document inspection and on-site inspection. Please submit the documents to the maintenance section at least one week before the on-site inspection. On-site inspections will be conducted jointly by the Maintenance Division and Public Works OfficePublic Works Office in the same way as the intermediate inspection.

　Main discussions include traffic manager consultation with the prefectural police, drainage consultation, and national highway talks. As a general rule, we will discuss in cause person and have you report to road manager, please talk after adjustment well with related organizations before basic design consultation.
