It is affiliated organization of the mayor established based on the Yokohama-shi social movement promotion regulations. We investigated and deliberated on necessary matters related to the promotion of social activities, such as how to support social activities.

With the full revision of the Yokohama City Social Activities Promotion Ordinance, it has been completed in 7th and 12 years.

Yokohama-shi citizen activity promotion Exploratory Committee (end in 1998)

The Social Activities Promotion Exploratory Committee was established by Yokohama City in October 1997 to examine the ideal way of social activities support in Yokohama City. Another major feature is that we also examined the legal issues that arise when social activities and the government collaborate, and based on these examinations, "Basic Policy on Collaboration with Citizens Activities in Yokohama City (Yokohama Code)" Has been proposed.
