In Yokohama-shi, we devised "basic guideline of collaboration promotion" with the aim of making city of collaboration that citizen's willingness, idea, execution ability can be utilized.
This guideline was developed in order for citizens and the government to work together to solve local issues, and to promote collaboration with a common understanding. .

The basic guidelines for collaboration promotion are based on the "Yokohama Code" as the basic philosophy, and to promote measures and businesses of Yokohama City with a viewpoint of collaboration. Formulated as a rule in July 2004. Eight years have passed since then, and during this time, while various social situations have changed, many collaborative measures have been implemented, and related ordinances and civic bases have been improved, deepening local bonds, and collaboration has been promoted. Since the need to proceed further, we have begun this review.
