Support for school library maintenance

We help solve the issues faced by each school library through discussions with the teachers in charge and school librarians.

We provide consultation according to the circumstances of each school so that you can make use of the know-how of public libraries, such as basic knowledge on book classification and labels, arrangement of bookshelves and exhibitions, in school libraries.
Support for school library maintenance

Support for school volunteers

For volunteers who are active in schools, such as reading stories and school libraries, we hold lectures for volunteers and receive consultations on how to select picture books and how to repair books.

In addition, groups that volunteer at school can borrow 30 books per group for reading aloud, etc., up to 30 days by registering for a group loan.

Interaction with librarians, library teachers, and school librarians

We will visit the meeting of the teachers in charge of the library at the school in the ward and provide information on using the library and explain the business. In addition, training is also available for teachers and school librarians located at each school.

Acceptance of work experience learning and occupational interviews

We accept junior high school and high school students in the city and carry out work experience learning. It is an opportunity to experience "work" that you can not usually experience at school, such as lending and returning books at the counter, returning books to bookshelves, and making reservations in the office, and to feel the meaning of working.
In occupational interviews, we answer questions such as the work of library staff, their rewards, and why they chose this profession.
