1 Exploring your roots

I was born because there were people who were ancestors, including parents. So, when you want to know your ancestors, what kind of research do you have? Here, we introduce a book that describes how to search for your roots and a book that contains the actual records of the person who actually surveyed.

2 Check the last name and last name (last name)

During the Edo period, many Japanese were not allowed to give their last names publicly. In 1875, the so-called "minister surname required ordinance" required Japanese people to give their last name. It is said that the number of surnames in Japan is currently 300,000.

3 Check the family crest

The family crest is the seal of the house specified in each house. There are various designs, such as those related to the surname, those commemorating the historical traces of the house, and those related to the religion, but they also represent the tradition, history, family history, history, etc. of the house. Some people were banned from public use in the Edo period, but there were no restrictions on family crests, so family crests can be a clue to the lineage and history of the house.
