Yokohama City Library is looking for magazine sponsors!

　We are looking for sponsors to donate magazines and newspapers to Yokohama City Library.
　We ask for your cooperation so that we can further enhance the materials and information provided to citizens and make the library a "local information base" that can help citizens investigate and research.
　Please inflect as "place of PR" of local company, group!

　If you donate a magazine to a library as a magazine sponsor, you can place an advertisement on the shelf of the magazine and the cover of the latest issue of the magazine.
　Magazines are one of the most popular library materials and are used by many people every day.
　In particular, the latest issue is always located in the hall because there are many requests for use. (※ Some exceptions apply.)
　＊In the case of newspapers, the method of posting advertisements differs depending on the location, so please consult us in advance.

I will attach your advertising sticker to the shelf. (up to 10 cm long x 15 cm wide)
＊Please pay in advance with printed on a sticker that can be peeled off.

I will attach your advertising flyer to the cover of the latest issue of the magazine. (up to magazine size)
＊Print one side, put it in a clear file, etc., and deliver it in advance.

The company name, location, and contact information will be posted on the Yokohama City Library website.

We can expect PR effect to Yokohama citizen!

☆The number of visitors to the Yokohama City Library annually.
　 Chuo-toshokan has about 830,000 people and about 6.39 million in all 18 buildings.
　 …It is the top class number of users among citizen use facilities and tourist facilities in the city.

　…As the population of Yokohama City is about 3.77 million (as of April 1, 2024), about one in four Yokohama citizens will have a library card.

　We are accepting applications from time to time in 2024!
　※The contract period is as little as 6 months to 1 month, and applications can be accepted up to one year.
　　If you wish to continue sponsor after a period of one year, it will be renewed every year.

　At least one month before the period for which you wish to donate, click here for the "Advertisement Application Form" (PDF: 273KB) / word version (word: 24KB), create the advertisement sticker and flyer data, and apply by e-mail or mail Please apply.

　Municipal Central Library will send you a "Selection Notice" and "Consent Form" within one to two weeks after the application is accepted.
　Upon receipt, please fill out the "Consent Form" and return it to your seal.

　We will examine the advertising content of the advertisement sticker and flyer. As a result of examination, based on "Yokohama-shi insertion standard", we may ask for correction such as advertisement contents. Municipal Central Library will contact you as soon as the review is completed.
　After the screening, please pay the actual advertisement sticker and flyer directly to the library where the magazine is delivered at least one week before the contract period.

　Magazines and newspapers selected at the time of application that were published during the contract period should be delivered to the library you wish to donate within 3 business days from the date of release by mail or carry-in.
　※Please let us know as soon as the delivery method is decided.

　[Example of how to purchase and delivery of magazines]
　　◆In order to revitalize the local economy, apply for a subscription at a local bookstore and deliver it by delivery from the bookstore.
　　◆It is purchased at a bookstore near the company and delivered directly to the library.
　　◆Apply for a subscription to the publisher, and deliver it by mail from the publisher.

　The magazine sponsor business is one of the advertising business of Yokohama City.
　About industry or contents of advertisement, please observe "Yokohama-shi insertion summary", "Yokohama-shi insertion standard", and other advertising-related regulations.

• Please indicate in the advertisement that it is an advertisement.
• Advertisement stickers and flyers may be requested again if there is any dirt or damage.
• The contract may be canceled during the contract period, for example, if the sponsoring magazine is not delivered within three business days from the date of release, or if the sponsoring magazine is suspended during the contract period.
• For advertising stickers and flyers, please submit the advertisement manuscript at least one month before the contract period, and undergo a review of the advertising content for the above conditions.
• Based on Yokohama-shi insertion summary, we may ask for correction such as advertisement contents. Thank you for your understanding.
• At least one week before the contract period, please deliver the completed advertisement seal and flyer to the application building (must arrive). If you do not deliver by the deadline, you may not be able to place an advertisement, but please note that refunds will not be possible in that case.

　　We are also looking for donations of books and children's books that are useful for research and research.

◎A new book
1. If you donate 18 or more books (20,000 yen or more)
2 or if you donate every year.
　Awards will be given in the following manner if desired.
(1)　A donation commemorative sticker will be attached to the donated book and released.
(2)　A donation commemorative exhibition will be held in the library.
(3)　Donation awards will be introduced on the library website.
