Yokohama City Library collects information such as books and provides it widely to citizens, and conveys it to future generations as important intellectual property.
Please cooperate by all means to further enhance the materials provided to citizens.

• If you would like to cooperate in collecting materials, please bring it to the nearest library counter.
• The handling of the donated books is left to the library.
• Please note that we may not be able to respond to your kindness.

For individuals, companies, organizations, etc. who want to contribute to society through libraries
For those who want to donate books that have been read.

The Yokohama City Library strives to collect local materials related to Yokohama City and Kanagawa Prefecture.
If you have the following books or have been newly published, please donate them to the library.

• Local materials written about Yokohama City and Kanagawa Prefecture
• School history, company history, Neighborhood Associations history, commemorative magazine related to Yokohama City

We are looking for donations of books and children's books that are useful for research and research.

• Donations can be received from one book.
• The library will select books according to the desired field and amount of money.
• We accept it regardless of individual, company or organization.

If you donate more than 18 books (more than 20,000 yen) or "if you donate every year", we will honor you in the following ways if you wish.

1. Attach a donation commemorative sticker to the back cover of the donated book (inside the book).
2. Information on donors will be posted on the Yokohama City Library website, "Introduction to Companies and Organizations for Cooperation".
3. We will inform you that you donated it via Yokohama City Library X (formerly Twitter).
4. We will set up a corner for a certain period of time to introduce books donated to Yokohama City Library.
5. A presentation ceremony for the donated books will be held.

　Those who wish to receive awards are looking for donations from companies and organizations! Please take a look.

We are looking for sponsors to support subscriptions to magazines and newspapers in Yokohama City Library.
Advertisements of sponsoring companies will be posted in magazines, etc., so please use them as "PR places" for local companies and organizations!

Please confirm when you donate.

1. Materials with broken, sunburn and dirt, writing, collection seals and signs.
2. Encyclopedias, pictorial books, complete literature and complete art collections already held in City Library.

In addition, books donated may be placed in "Reuse Bunko". Thank you for your understanding.
