The operation of the light motor vehicles tax (keijidosha-zei) Payment Confirmation System (Light JNKS) will begin in January 2023, and the light motor vehicles Inspection Association will be able to check online payment information for each vehicle of light motor vehicles tax (keijidosha-zei) (by type) imposed by municipalities.
This light motor vehicles eliminates the need to present a tax certificate at the continuous inspection counter in principle. (If you want to receive a continuous inspection immediately after payment, please pay at a financial institution or a convenience store.)

・Light JNKS applies only to Miwa and automobiles. Two-wheeled vehicles will continue to need a tax certificate.
・It may take some time for the payment information to be registered in Light JNKS.
　If you are going to receive a continuous inspection immediately after payment, pay at a financial institution or convenience store, etc., and bring your tax payment certificate as before.

・If payment by light JNKS cannot be confirmed, a paper tax certificate will be required as before.
　Example: Immediately after purchasing a used car, immediately after moving to another municipality, or if the target vehicle has not been paid in the past.
