Statutory exemption

When the first insured person corresponds to any of the following, please report. Payment of insurance premiums during the applicable period are exempt. This is called a statutory exemption.

1. Disability Basic Pension, disability welfare pension or disability mutual benefit pension (limited to grades 1 and 2), disability pension for which a reason for payment before March 1986, provided by the National Pension Plan (Kokumin Nenkin), Employees' Pension Insurance, Seafarers' Insurance and Mutual Aid Association, or the benefit of disability benefits under the Benefits Act.
2. When receiving livelihood assistance under the Livelihood Protection Act
3. When being housed in a national sanatorium or a national recreation center
