  • Commuter passes cannot be purchased at PASMO and Suica issued as anonymous cards on the terminal.
  • When using Mobile PASMO and Mobile Suica (PASMO / Suica of Apple Pay) on a single terminal, it is necessary to set the main card (express card) to be used preferentially.
  • Use of Mobile PASMO and Mobile Suica (including Apple Pay's PASMO / Suica) is limited to those aged 12 years or older (excluding elementary school students).

  • The types of commuter passes sold on municipal buses are as follows. All commuter passes can be purchased 14 days before the start date of use.
  • There are also ticket types that allow you to use the environmental commuter pass system when boarding.
  • The types of commuter passes that can be purchased vary depending on the sales counter, so be sure to check before going out.
  • You can check the business hours of the sales window and the types of commuter passes that can be purchased at each window from this page.

Full-line commuter pass

Except for some systems, you can get on all Yokohama municipal buses and Yokohama Kotsu Development Co., Ltd. routes.
(You cannot get on the sightseeing spot tour bus "Akaikatsu".)

Discount commuter passes for persons with disabilities are not available with mobile PASMO / Apple Pay PASMO.

※1 There are some transportation ICs (unsigned Suica, etc.) that cannot issue commuter passes. For details, please contact the commuter pass sales counter.
※2 For mobile PASMO (including Apple Pay PASMO), you can operate your own device and purchase it. Tickets cannot be purchased at the commuter pass sales counter.
※3 In the case of Mobile Suica (including Apple Pay Suica), it will be sold at the commuter pass sales counter, so please come to the commuter pass sales counter. Please note that it cannot be purchased at the subway station office or ticket vending machine.
※4 If you purchase after the validity period of the commuter pass expires, it will be a new purchase, so you will need to show a certificate etc.

Common commuter pass

This is a commuter pass that can be used by multiple bus operators in some sections where municipal buses and bus routes of other companies are operated in parallel. Please note that you will not be able to board outside of the designated section. Please refer to the following for the commuter pass rates and applicable sections.
For vehicles and sections where a common commuter pass can be used, there is a "common commuter pass handling vehicle" on the front of the bus (the part where the destination is displayed).
In addition, common commuter passes are sold only with "paper commuter passes", and cannot be purchased at some commuter passes sales counters. Please check the list of commuter pass sales counters before going out.

Senior pass

This is a commuter pass for all municipal bus lines, which is great for those over 65 years old. Some systems may not be able to board, so please refer to the above-mentioned commuter pass items. In addition, those who are currently 64 years old can purchase if they are 65 years old at the start of use. (You can purchase from 14 days before the start date of use.)

About refund of commuter pass

Please refer to the following for details on how to refund the commuter pass, location, etc. Please note that some commuter passes cannot be refunded at some commuter pass sales counters.
If you use a commuter pass on mobile PASMO (including Apple Pay PASMO), you will be refunded within the app. Refunds cannot be made at the commuter pass counter.

  • If the result of the refund calculation is "0 yen or less", there is no refund amount.
  • Please bring a public certificate (license, passport, insurance card, student ID card, etc.) that can confirm that you are the holder of the commuter pass.
  • To set up a proxy/agent, you will need a letter of attorney from the holder of the commuter pass, a copy of the official certificate of the holder, and a public certificate to confirm that you are proxy/agent.
  • If you have purchased a commuter pass with a credit card, be sure to bring the card at the time of purchase with the credit card holder.
