Survey of asbestos use in school facilities (2005)

In response to the fact that asbestos damage at business sites has become a social problem, the Board of Education has used asbestos-containing spraying materials at all facilities under its jurisdiction in order to ensure safety measures for elementary school studenｔ students and citizens. We conduct on-site surveys and sample analysis to understand the actual situation.

２： Response to facilities where asbestos is known to be used
At present, the Morihigashi Elementary School indoor playground, where asbestos is known to be used, will be removed according to the following schedule.
Scheduled to be removed: From August 18 to early September, 2005 (September 15 measures taken)
(Asbestos removal was completed by the end of August.)
(Containing ingredients: 4 percent chrysotile)
