2021 Yokohama Youth Independence Support Lecture (Video)

For individuals and their families who are worried about withdrawal status

Young people with difficulties such as withdrawals and their families have been conducting youth independence support lectures since 2017 for the purpose of connecting to the use of consulting organizations.
In fiscal 2021, we created a video on themes for individuals and families who are worried about withdrawal status.

Overview

This is a lecture to deepen the understanding of withdrawal, such as what kind of state withdrawal is, the process of recovery, and the desirable response of the family members to take on the withdrawn state.
In addition, we introduce facility introductions and consultation examples of each youth independence support organization.
In addition, the examples introduced in this video are fictitious examples of combining multiple support cases, and only an example.
In fact, we provide support tailored to each individual.

Based on my experience in family psychological education, I have been involved in supporting the withdrawal family for many years.

Part 1. What is withdrawal (17 minutes)

Withdrawal can happen to anyone, it is not special.
I would like to talk about what withdrawal is and how to understand.

Let's talk about what processes can be done to recover from withdrawal status.

I would like to talk about how people around me, such as family members.

Part 2 About youth independence support organization of Yokohama-shi (12 minutes)

Introducing facilities that support the independence of young people in Yokohama City.
Each facility has its own characteristics.

Part 3 Introduction of Yokohama City Youth Consultation Center (22 minutes in total)

1． Introduction to the facility (10 minutes)

What kind of support does the Youth Consultation Center provide?
We introduce the flow of consultation, frequently asked questions, and the inside of the facility.

２．Case introduction (12 minutes)

Consultations are started with only family members, and we introduce examples of support until the individual visits.
In addition, the examples introduced in this video are fictitious examples of combining multiple support cases, and only an example.
In fact, we provide support tailored to each individual.

Part 4 Introduction of Regional Youth Plaza (2 bottles, 15 minutes)

1． Introduction to the facility (6 minutes)

What kind of support is being provided at the Regional Youth Plaza?
This time, we introduce "Yokohama Northern Youth Plaza" among four youth plazas in the city, about how to start using it and the state of activities at "place of residence".

２．Case introduction (9 minutes)

This section introduces examples of cases in which the individual visits and aims to participate in society through individual interviews and exchanges with others.
In addition, the examples introduced in this video are fictitious examples of combining multiple support cases, and only an example.

Part 5 Yokohama Youth Consultation Center User Interview (16 minutes)

Those who use the Youth Consultation Center talked about their feelings at the time of withdrawal and what they would like to convey to those who are worried now.
