■What is Kanagawa Nursery Teacher / Nursery Center Support Center?

　It is a center that supports those who wish to work for childcare.

　Yokohama City is a public center operated jointly with Kanagawa Prefecture, etc., so you can use it with confidence. Of course, it is free.

　A dedicated coordinator will carefully assist you in finding a nursery that suits you.

　The recipients of the employment incentive shall be those who have childcare qualifications and meet any of the following requirements.

1. Register for a job at the Kanagawa Nursery School / Nursery Center Support Center, receive employment support from the center, and be employed in private childcare and educational facilities (*) in Yokohama City.
2. The childcare and educational facilities adopted in the preceding item have been working on or after March 1, 2023, and have been engaged in childcare and education work at the facility as of the date of application (the application period is from the date of employment until the end of the month six months later).
3. Employment contracts that require at least 20 hours a week as work styles at childcare and educational facilities adopted in the first issue.
4. For graduates of nursery teacher training facilities, at least one year have passed since graduation as of the start date of employment at the childcare and educational facilities.
5. Being not a director (manager) of a nursery / educational facility, a director, and an officer of a company that establishes or operates a childcare / educational facility
6. Have not received any incentives based on this outline in the past
7. Have not received employment support from a paid employment agency for employment at the childcare / educational facility
8. Being not a gangster prescribed in Article 2, Item 6 of the Act on Prevention of Unjust Acts by Gangsters

The incentive money is subject to "miscellaneous income" for tax purposes.
Please note that a final tax return and a city / prefectural tax return are required and may be subject to tax.
In addition, please refer to each presentation destination (final tax return: tax office, report of city, prefectural tax: local government where you live) for the details about report.

　(1) Income tax
　If the income is only salary income and the income is determined by year-end adjustment, and the total amount of various income including the incentive money (excluding salary income and Retirement income) is less than 200,000 yen, the tax return is not required (not taxed).
　On the other hand, if the total amount of income including the incentive money (excluding salary income and Retirement income) exceeds 200,000 yen or those who originally need to file a final tax return, please note that it is necessary to file a final tax return, including the income of the incentive money.

　(2) About city, prefectural tax
　Even if you do not need to file a final income tax return, you will need to file a city / prefectural tax return. The amount of tax is, in principle, specially collected from salary.
